The staff are warm and welcoming, the apartments are well appointed and are in a fantastic location for exploring the city on foot.

It’s very historic and a great location. Easy to park in the carpark opposite for a fraction of hotel parking.

We liked the spaciousness of the room but too many issues. 1) bed was normal double size which is disappointing for a hotel especially when the room was huge. The headboard stuck out well past the bed so I guess they changed it. But my husband and I are used to super kingsize so it really felt tiny. 2) far too many bright lights in the ceiling which didn’t switch off. Luckily I’d taken an eye mask but my husband didn’t sleep well because of it. 3) windowless bathroom meant it was pitch black but it only had the main light which made it like an operating theatre. Nobody needs that at 3am :(
